But, aversion only makes things worse and actually prevents the recovery and resolution of anxiety or depression. Healing and resolution occur after you fully embrace your anxiety and depression with this compassionate awareness that we call mindfulness. It may be difficult to do at first, but it is the most direct route to overcome anxiety and depression.
